Darren Hayward
Darren Hayward BSc (Ost)
Registered Osteopath
After qualifying at the British School of Osteopathy in 1994, Darren has been practising throughout the North West - and has been working within Lymm Osteopathic Practice for around 25 years.
He treats patients with a whole variety of conditions: from people with chronic work related back pain to arthritis patients who want to become less reliant on painkillers.
Darren’s own personal enthusiasm for sports (he runs ultra-marathons, has played rugby and participated in and coached judo) means he has a particular interest in sports injuries.
He also has a specialist involvement with ME or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and regularly sees a similarity between CFS patients who were often formerly dynamic, driven individuals - and sports lovers. Whilst there is no evidence to suggest that Osteopathy is a cure for CFS, many people who use it say it is gentle, alleviates pain and stress and promotes relaxation and a feeling of well-being.

She is always more than happy to refer anyone if she feels that they need specialist help and to talk to anyone, in confidence, if they have any concerns.
