Since qualifying from Salford University as a State Registered, now HPC Registered Podiatrist, Gina has been employed for over twenty years within the NHS. She joined the Lymm Practice over 15 years ago, allowing her to develop and nurture a holistic approach to benefit her patients.
- Working for many years in the NHS has allowed Gina to gain extensive experience in diagnosis and treatment of foot and foot related conditions, along with specialized knowledge in Diabetic and Rheumatoid foot care.
- Treatment of painful nails, corns, callus and other foot pathologies will often result in a careful analysis of gait (biomechanical) and posture related problems, which may be helped by exercises, orthotics and footwear advice.
- She can provide vascular and neurological assessment in the long term management of chronic disorders and high risk patient groups; along with treatment of ulcers, wound management, advice and referrals as appropriate.
- Gina is trained and licensed to use local anesthetics to carry out partial and total removal of ingrowing and thickened toe nails.
- A home visiting service is available for those patients who are housebound.
- Gina has also gained a Diploma in Reflexology to enhance a holistic approach for her patients.
Gina really enjoys her vocation and is committed to regularly attend courses to build on her knowledge and keep up to date with advancements in her field.
