Welcome to Lymm Osteopathic Practice
The Path to Wellbeing
To
a greater or lesser extent everybody, regardless of age, suffers stresses
and strains at various times in their life.
Toddlers may have ear and or chest infections; most school children heave
heavy school bags over one shoulder to and from school and from lesson
to lesson; while many students spend too much time hunched over a laptop
and many don’t eat a balanced diet or take enough proper exercise.
Some people, of course, are sporting but the lack of proper equipment,
training or just over enthusiasm can lead to over stretching of ligaments
and tendons.
Just going to and from work may compound the aches and pains begun when
younger. Hours spent driving uncomfortable cars or standing on lurching
buses or commuter trains, followed by sedentary hours at a desk can stimulate
current or future pains and discomfort.
Later, in old age, when joints stiffen and circulation slows down it is
all too easy, especially on cold winter days, to forgo a stroll to the
shops or park in favour of “Countdown”. Alas mobility suffers
and aches and pain become a major talking point.
Here
at Lymm Osteopathic Practice we offer our clients a combination of treatments
and therapies: osteopathy, naturopathy,
podiatry,
aromatherapy and reflexology to name a few.
We have been practising here for more years than we care to admit - this should give you confidence that the treatments you receive at Lymm Osteopathic Practice will be appropriate to your condition.
As a group of like-minded healthcare professionals we treat our clients in a holistic manner. We seek to discover and treat the underlying causes of the problem rather than merely alleviate symptoms which will only provide temporary relief.
We encourage clients to visit other practitioners within the practice as a combination of treatments can often give better results than just repetitions of one style of treatment.
We continually seek to improve our knowledge and skills by:
- sharing treatment information with other professionals in the practice to further patient benefits,
- attending ongoing professional development courses within our area of speciality.
